Nusa Dua (Reuters) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono called on heads of state and government of East Asia (EAS) to reflect together on efforts to strengthen the economies of East Asia at a time when the world economy is experiencing a slowdown in growth.
Invitation was given by President Yudhoyono in the East Asia Summit (EAS) -6 in Bali Nusa Dua Convention Centre (BNDCC), Nusa Dua, on Saturday.
"I invited 18 leaders of the Asia Summit to consider East Asia's efforts to strengthen the economy or the economy of the region at a time when the world economy is growing slower, has a deranged state of shock, including capital markets and financial markets, "he said.
At a meeting for the first time assisted US President Barack Obama and Russian Sergei Lavrov, who represents the Russian President, Dmitri Medvedev, who is absent due to the preparation of elections in the country, is also the President urged EAS leaders to build a foundation and concrete action to address the problems permasalahn factual basis.

Meanwhile, leaders of the countries of East Asia Forum adopted two statements on the 6 th Summit of the SAE SAE Declaration on fundamental principles and the Declaration of the Summit of mutually beneficial cooperation in the sixth of the EAS connectivity ASEAN.
The first statement contains the rules and principles that emerges from a series of basic documents, including the United Nations Charter Trakt, Friendship and Cooperation (TAC) and a series of other agreements between EAS member states.
The declaration will serve as a member of the EAS manners advice in maintaining and promoting peace, stability and prosperity in the region.
Pending a second declaration of connectivity as a key for cooperation in five priority EAS who have been there before, namely, the prevention of avian flu, energy, education, finance and disaster management.
The statement will be the basis for any cooperation among ASEAN countries with other countries of the EAS in the areas of connectivity initiatives, regional development public-private partnerships, and efforts to promote cooperation between people.
EAS Summit-6 consisted of two plenary sessions and retirement. East Asia Summit was held in the popular tourist area in Nusa Dua, Bali, and brought together 16 heads of state EAS of 10 leaders of ASEAN and six dialogue partners of ASEAN.

The ten leaders of ASEAN countries, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, President of the ASEAN, the Sultan of Brunei Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Sen, Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, Prime Minister of Laos Thingsing Thammavong, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak President of Myanmar Thein Sein, Philippine President Aquino III, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Long, Prime Minister of Thailand, and Yingluck Shinawatra.
Meanwhile, the leaders of six dialogue partners of ASEAN are Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of Japan, Yoshihiko Noda, South Korean President Lee Myung- bak and U.S. President Barack Obama.
U.S. and Russia are members of the new EAS. In addition to the 16 leaders of the country, there is also the Secretary General of ASEAN Surin Pitsuwan and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
